A new week ushers in new activities and events in the Puyallup community. Check out what is happening downtown this week.

Seattle Reptile & Exotic Animal Expo If you like creatures with scales and exotic animals, then this is the show for you! Learn how to care for your reptile and check out the variety of animals that are on display at this expo. This event is taking place on Saturday and Sunday and is in the Expo Hall (enter at the Gold Gate at The Fair). For more information head to http://www.beanfarm.com/nwcbe/

Storytime Reading is a great activity, and you can never start reading with your kids too early. Come downtown to the local public library for storytime. Preschool Stories are available for children 3 to 5 years old on Fridays from 10-11 AM. Toddler Treasures are available for children 1 to 3 years old on Fridays from 11:15-11:45 am

Puyallup Farmer’s Market The Farmers Market is heading toward the end of its season. Make sure you get downtown this weekend to enjoy it. Pick up fresh produce, bakery treats, and fresh flowers. Bring your dog if you want a buddy to walk around the market with or let your children play in the park after you have gone through all the different vendors and activities. The market takes place on Saturday, October 15th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm in Pioneer Park.

Washington Snowmobile EXPO Winter is just around the corner. In Washington; we love our outdoor winter activities. The Washington State Fair is the place to be this weekend for the snowmobile enthusiast! Check out new snowmobiles, clothing, accessories, learn about the best places to go, safety, tools, swap meets, and more! Free workshops Saturday 12–5pm. Sundays with the Mayor Do you enjoy conversation and ice cream? Come downtown to the Puyallup Activity Center on Friday, October 13th from 11-12pm to attend Sundays with the Mayor.
